Dental Health
During the fun-filled program, students will examine the parts of a tooth and learn proper dental health and hygiene. Healthy nutrition related to dental health will also be discussed.

Farm to Family
During this “Down to Earth” program, students will learn where and how fruits and vegetables grow. With the help of the “Organ Annie” doll, they also discover the benefits of eating healthy for one’s body. The program includes a hands-on activity that the students can take home and share with their family.

Using a variety of activities, students will learn basic principles of nutrition and healthy eating. The interactive hands-on activity reinforces principles taught in the classroom portion of the nutrition lesson.

Skeletal System
Students meet the skeleton “Charlie Bones” who will help them learn the importance of keeping bones and muscles healthy. Students will be taught the importance of exercise and how to choose calcium-rich foods. Students build a skeleton during the hands-on activity.
